Hi everyone!

Cookwares are important tools in the kitchen because without it we cannot cook . The type of cookwares are different depending on how we want to cook or what we want to cook. I do like to have collection of cookwares around my kitchen so that I can cook whatever type of cooking anytime as we might want different type of taste and cooking once in a while . It will give us satisfaction and enjoyment in cooking if we satisfied with the result and happy to serve it to our family and loves one .

Before we buy the product,it is good to read the manufacturer's guideline so that you can choose accordingly . Consider the types of material and how to care of the product so it will last longer . Materials may come from aluminium, cast iron, copper, enamel, non stick ,uncoated or stainless steel . Different types of material need different type of care . For example , for non stick materials, you cannot scratch it because it will spoil the non stick coating . So avoid using spoon made of metal ,instead you should use utensils or spatula made of plastic or wood. The good things that I like for non stick materials are easy to wash and need less oil for cooking .

Cookware made of aluminum material, should be washed as soon as possible after use and dry it thoroughly to avoid pitting . Aluminium dulls easily, so wash it with soapy non scratch scouring pad. Other cookware items made from other material should also be cleaned as soon as possible to prevent it from staining or rusting . For Copper, you can Clean the exterior of the cookware with a solution of white vinegar and salt, then rinse and polish. You can also use a commercial copper cleaner.

Another things that you should consider when buying a cookware product are the features such as glass lids , infused materials ,handles and other features for safety purpose . I like this glass lids because this will let me see what's going on inside the pot without lifting it and letting the steam to escape. But they might a bit heavy and can break easily, which could be unsafe in a household , especially with young children around.

For handles , they are normally made from tubular stainless steel, cast stainless steel, heat-resistant plastic or silicone. Handles are either welded, screwed, or riveted onto cookware. Handles which riveted are the strongest. Plastic handles won't get as hot as metal ones, but can't go in ovens above 350 degrees F. Handles made of Silicone stay cool and can go in the oven up to a certain temperature.


  • WOK

    Wok are mostly used in the kitchen for frying food like chicken , fish , meat ,noodle or other food . Normally ,Children love to eat fried chicken and this wok is very useful for a household with children . I prefer to have the Wok with a lid because it prevents the oil from splashing out making the countertop dirty and difficult to clean .


    There are varieties of material that you can choose ranging from heavy duty , stainless steel , cast iron, carbon steel , aluminums and few more . For me , I would prefer Stainless steel or carbon steel with medium size for easy handling and washing . You can choose your preference according to your need .

  • SKILET

    Skillet is a flat –bottomed pan and is used for frying , browning food or searing . Normally the sizes are about 8 to 12 inches in diameter , the sides are low that flare outwards , a long handle and no lid but some has lid too . I like to use a skillet for frying because it is light weight that make me easy to handle and wash . It is suitable for cooking a small amount of food such as cooking eggs or just for reheating small amount of food because it is handy.



  • These skillets have few types of materials such as metal , nonstick or coated . I prefer the non stick materials because it is easy to cook and wash . The other things that I like to use this frying pan is also because it has a long handle that prevent your hand became hot while cooking because it make your hands a bit far away from the stove .For choosing handle , I would prefer the non heating material such as plastic or wood . But if you want to put it in your oven to complete the cooking proses , you may need something that oven safe .

  • STEAMER

    You may need a steamer occasionally especially when you don’t want to use oil for healthy reason . Steaming is a method of cooking that using a moist –heat that’s cooks food by surrounding it with vapor in an enclosed environment . It is a healthy and effective cooking technique because food particularly vegetables retain their nutrients and not leach out as they are simmered in the water or soup . Other than vegetables, food that suitable and good to steam are green bean , fish , dumplings and many more. I like to steam a fresh fish because it makes cooking very simple ,fast and easy especially if we do not have time for cooking or thinking of other recipes . So just use a steamer , the taste is great and nutritious .



  • Other foods that also suitable for steaming are like lean fish fillets , boneless and skinless chicken breast . The sizes of the meat and vegetables must be equal pieces so that they will cook evenly . Arrange it in a single layer and leave a little room between each piece so that the steam can circulate around , otherwise certain parts might not cook evenly . The liquid of the steamer must enough so that it will last through the entire steaming time and be sure the pot is not boiling dry . I prefer a steamer with a glass lid so we can see the progress of cooking without removing the lid and may cause the temperature to drop. The hot steam may also dangerous because it can cause burns

  • STOCK POT

    Stock pot is suitable for boiling or making soup , making stock ,stews or other type of cooking that need more water or sauce . Normally it is tall and deep and range in size from 8 to 16 quarts , so it is large enough to boil water for potatoes , simmer big batches of soup and stew , large quantities of sauce. The stock pot has straight sides and is typically taller than its width , so it can fit on one burner and minimize the surface of the liquid to reduce evaporation .


  • When you want to buy the stock pot , look for two study loop handles that easy to grip and a tight fitting lid . And ideal stock pot is made of medium – grade anodized aluminum and stainless steel . There are variety of size and materials ,so choose that suit your need . You may only need a medium size if have a small family ,but I like to have a few sizes so that I can use it depending on your amount of cooking . For entertaining purposes , I like to have a bigger one to make soup . You always can reheat it whenever needed because soup is good to take when it is hot .
